Talaysay Tours has been providing tours and authentic cultural experiences since 2002. We offer activities, walking tours, wellness experiences and events for all ages and groups. Our activities include Talking Trees (Nature) and Spoken Treasures (History), Talking Totems (Art) and Forest Bathing (Wellness). We operate in Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast, Squamish and Whistler.

Peninsula Gallery is a fine art gallery established in 1986. It represents some of the most sought after artists of Canada's West Coast. High quality artworks are being showed all year round with museum class display.

The Sun Peaks Lodge is located in 2 adjacent buildings in the heart of Sun Peaks Resort, with ski-in/ski-out access, just steps away from the chairlift for skiing, hiking and biking and the 18-hole Golf Course. All the village shops & restaurants are located directly outside the front door. The 44 rooms and studios are tastefully decorated and feature flat screen TV , comfortable beds with duvets, hotel fridge, private safe, phone, coffee maker with complimentary coffee/tea, iron/ironing board, renovated bathrooms with walk in rain showers and hairdryer. The studios offer kitchenettes. During the ski season (Dec-Mar) a hot tub, sauna, steam room, ski storage room and the Steakhouse restaurant are available.

On loop road 300m off Hwy16. Motel, 1 story, park at door. In FRONT with in-room WiFi, smoking area: 2 with a 2nd room (1 x 1 D & 1 Q bed, 1 x 2 double beds; dogs o.k., with optional full kitchens): 3 sleeping (with 2 double beds; 1 x dogs o.k.). SIDE wing - no smoking permitted, no WiFi signal: 1 x double bed (& full kitchen optional in 2nd room, dogs o.k.), 2 x 1 Queen (1 with optional full kitchen; add a roll-a-way), 1 sleeping x 2 doubles & a twin, 2 sleeping x 1 double bed; 1 dorm 2 twins. All rooms have a fridge (most full size), & a TV (most flat screen). Windows open & fans (no AC or phones - good cell service). Serviced PWS sites or boondocking for self contained RVs. Recycling is a must. Some beverages, snacks, canned goods at office; food & other services 5 km East. Longer stay quotes available.

Did you know that the Bon Voyage Inn has completed a full renovation of all guest-rooms in 2016? Enjoy our new look, and the convenience of our location: Direct access to Hwy 16, still in a quiet residential area. There are two restaurants and a shopping area with laundromat, health food-store, cold beer and wine store, gas station with car and truck wash, convenience store and more - just at your doorstep. Motor-bikers traveling to or from Alaska may find our property handy, since we always (based on availability) will try to have them on the ground floor, and we are happy to provide rags for cleaning ... and can offer some spots where they machines can stay dry during bad weather. Cyclists may also find us a good stop-over, since we do offer overnight locked storage for the bicycles. You don't have to bring it into your room. The Bon Voyage Inn also features a spacious, well-lit parking lot, which is a good fit for bus groups, teams, school excursions and also big trucks. Winter plug-ins are, of course, available to our guests. The Bon Voyage Inn is only two minutes from Southridge Mall, one of Prince George's biggest shopping areas with stores like WalMart, Canadian Tire, Home Depot etc., and it is only ten minutes from UNBC, the University of Northern British Columbia. Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.
