The 94 Mile Motel has underwent an extensive renovation in the 2016 season; from linens and beds to kitchens and baths, everything has received an upgrade. The Motel also has a seasonal RV Park (May-September)featuring 6 RV sites complete with full hook ups! Located in the Cariboo, 5 minutes South of 100 Mile House, B.C.

Established in 2009, Maverick Estate Winery is nestled against the western slope of the South Okanagan Valley on the picturesque "Golden Mile Slopes". Our pursuit of excellence and originality has led to the development of this unique vineyard site.Our tasting room is open for personalized wine tastings for limited hours in March and April, daily from May to October, and by appointment November to February. Online reservations are appreciated, and please contact the winery directly for groups over six guests.At Maverick Winery, we know that wine is an investment in living: love, life, and good humour in bottled form.

Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife. It is a perfect whale watching platform. We offer ethical, educational, and meaningful experiences.

Aquabatics is the regional go-to for everything paddlesports! Aquabatics is fully stocked with a comprehensive range of kayaks, paddle boards, canoes and inflatables. The on-site and off-site rental program is popular with both tourists and locals. Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions, Kayak Rentals & Retreats specializes in Eco and indigenous education and tours, by means of kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, kids camps, yoga, retreats, and dog sledding (in winter months). Based on Pender Island, our head office is located at Otter Bay Marina, just off the ferry. Along with having the beauty of launching from the bay, mobile services are available to suit your adventure design, and so is our new location on Salt Spring Island! Our certified, professional guides would love to take you into the wild!

Formally, Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre, TidePools is a unique collect-and-release aquarium located inside Gibsons Public Market in the seaside town of Gibsons, BC. TidePools houses 30 exhibits displaying natural habitats and local marine fish and invertebrates from the waters of the Howe Sound. This includes interactive touch tanks and scavenger hunts! The animals are collected by our team of professional SCUBA divers. The animals are then housed in the Centre for 6-18 months, depending on the species, and released back to the ocean with help from the entire community. Displays are always changing, allowing the diversity of the marine life we have in the Howe Sound to shine. We host formal education programs with schools, run summer camps and bring in experts to deliver engaging presentations on ocean topics. Come visit us soon!
