Our seasonal "Caboose" Mackenzie Visitor Centre is open from May to September and is located at the Junction of Hwy 97 & Hwy 39. Year-round, you can visit the Visitor Centre in the Mackenzie Chamber of Commerce at #11-600 Mackenzie Boulevard, Mackenzie, BC for all of your tourism information and souvenirs. Built in 1903 this beautiful house was remodeled into a B&B with 8 unique rooms. The house sits on 87 acres has a salt water swimming pool, meditation labyrinth, walking trails and peaceful gardens. The property is adjacent to the Nature Trust Conservation lands, Chehalis River Hatchery and Sts'Ailes Reserve lands. Nearby are golf, skiing, boating and wildlife viewing opportunities. COVID-19 Vaccine passports are required to stay at this property.

Where History Comes to Life - Stroll down the streets of our 1920s community. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

A 28 acre private nature park. We have a No Amplified Music policy which means no music please. Of course, that does not mean that the campground runs in a meditative state, as acoustic guitar and singing is welcome. The entire property, including washrooms and pay showers, are immaculate. Paradise Valley Campgrounds location is known as front country this area is a natural habitat for many forms of wildlife. Typically, wild animals fear humans and are rarely seen or heard. If they are attracted by food and/or garbage left out around the campground, their fear diminishes and they become what is known as habituated; the fear is gone and they take what they want. Keeping our property clean has prevented wildlife from becoming habituated. To this end the campground provides several bear proof garbage and recycling containers.
