Other amenities include free WiFi, rain-shelters, picnic tables, a barbecue area, fire pits and hammocks. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are 35 minutes away. Nelson has many fine restaurants and a thriving art, music and dance scene. Stay here as a base for outdoor adventure, to reconnect with the forest, or just to relax.
