Cabins do not have cooking facilities, so on-site lunch and dinner options are available, including packed lunches for your daily adventures. Take a peaceful stroll along our lake trail or hike the ridge trail past beaver dams for lovely valley views. Wildlife is part of daily life here from hummingbirds gathering at the feeders on your porch to the local bear nibbling flowers in our field. After a day spent chasing waterfalls and wandering rugged trails in Wells Gray Park, unwind by the outdoor fire pit beside the creek, or paddle across our little lake as the sun sets behind the mountains. Mornings are perfect for sipping coffee by the water and soaking in the stunning beauty that surrounds you. Wolfwood Guest Ranch is an unforgettable wilderness escape.

Star Lake Fishing Resort is nestled on the edge of the Nehalliston Plateau overlooking the scenic North Thompson Valley and the friendly little town of Clearwater, British Columbia. With 5 housekeeping cabins, 10 campsites & a lake full of Rainbow Trout, the resort is ideal for fishing enthusiasts, family vacations, or quiet retreats. The majestic mountains of the world famous Wells Gray Park serve as a picturesque backdrop. The unspoiled wilderness, sparkling fresh mountain water, and virgin forests provide a relaxing Vacation Getaway.

The Kitimat Visitor Centre provides tourists and locals with local to National information. We have public washrooms, free Wi-Fi and souvenirs and local crafts for sale. In the summer months we have two adult Norco Fluid 4 HT mid-fat mountain bikes you can rent as well as a fleet of 6 sea kayaks, 2 inflatable kayaks, and two inflatable paddleboards including all safety gear needed for a fun day on the water.

We offer several guided sea kayaking tours that range from an Inner Harbour paddle to a true West Coast paddling experience on a full day kayaking tour to a historic lighthouse. Enjoy the flavor of a local marina and paddle with us in Victoria's amazing ocean environment.
