Yellow Dog Brewing is a family-run brewery focused on producing high quality locally crafted beer for everyone to enjoy. In the summer of 2014, Mike and Melinda Coghill opened up Port Moodys very first craft brewery to bring great beer and a family atmosphere to the craft beer world and our little part of Vancouver. Embraced by the community, Yellow Dog has grown into one of BC largest breweries. Liam Murphy heads our brewing team and with a focus on high quality and innovative beers. The singular focus on the quality of beer has led to many awards and a strong following for our core offerings. We are a functioning brewery with an on-site tasting room and patio. The Discovery Passage Aquarium offers fun and unique hands-on educational experiences for people of all ages. Come to see, touch and feel our incredible local marine species and habitats and discover the diverse marine life of Discovery Passage and Islands. The Aquarium is open from spring until fall each year. Specimens from representative local species are collected from the marine environment in the spring and returned to the area of collection at the end of the season.
