Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. Enjoy full or half day sailing trips around the Gulf Islands from Retreat Cove on Galiano. Explore Wallace Island & Saltspring's secluded beach at Walker's Hook from a new perspective on our 35' sloop. We recommend a 4 hour cruise from 11am to 3pm or 4pm to 8pm. We can also create a custom schedule for your pleasure. Our yacht is $100 per hour with a maximum group size of 8. You can choose the amazing salmon barbecue lunch/dinner for $25 per person.

Named after the Eagles that soar overhead, Eaglecrest Golf Club is located in the beautiful Oceanside area of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Established in 1971, Eaglecrest is one of the oldest golf courses in the area. This 18 hole championship golf course offers lush fairways and towering evergreen trees. The layout deftly combines a variety of different elements to create a uniquely challenging course. The first three holes are traditional links-style holes, while the next nine are tighter, winding through dense groves of firs and cedars. The final six holes are the golf courses most formidable, especially the 14th and 17th. The par-5 14th hole features lakes on either side as well as a treacherous pot bunker guarding the large green. Eaglecrest Golf Club`s 17th is also tricky. With a narrow landing area, massive greenside bunkers, and a slippery, four tiered, narrow green, the 17th at Eaglecrest will test all areas of your game. Eaglecrest presents many challenging tests, even for the most seasoned golfer.
