Hazelmere Golf Course first opened in 1962, and it has maintained a reputation for excellence ever since. Conveniently located in Surrey, which is near the U.S. Border, White Rock Beach and the Township of Langley, Hazelmere has earned a place among the finest British Columbia golf courses. In fact, from 2006 to 2008, Hazelmere Golf Course hosted the Greater Vancouver Charity Classic, a high honor for any golf course. Hazelmere has benefited greatly from a set of 2003 renovations done by Russ Olson, Boyd Beatty and Curtis Hnatiuk. The highlight of these enhancements is without question the natural grass practice facility, complete with five target greens and a practice fairway bunker. Golfers flock to Hazelmere Golf Course from all across the Lower Mainland, anxious to improve their games. Off the course, Hazelmere also boasts a number of attractive amenities, even if you don't play golf. Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Built in 1928, Assiniboine Lodge was North Americas first backcountry ski lodge. Today it retains its rustic charm and welcoming spirit. Nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Assiniboine, the Lodge is surrounded by soaring peaks, alpine meadows filled with wildflowers, larch trees and turquoise lakes. Located 28 kilometers from the nearest road, it is a place of incredible peacea place where we disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature, family and friends. We can help with accommodation bookings and activity suggestions, directions and hot tips on local favorites! We have great souvenirs, accessible facilities, a washroom, free computer use and free Wi-Fi access. Convenient parking is located outside the Revelstoke Business and Visitor Information Centre for cars and RVs - longer vehicles are encouraged to park westbound on Victoria Rd along the wide paved shoulder.

The Sncewips (sen-ch-wee-ps) Heritage Museum represents the heritage of Westbank First Nation (WFN) and the stories of the syilx/ Okanagan Nation as a whole. We believe in the power of our own voice to inspire, educate and transform and are working hard to build cultural capacity and language awareness along with programming development.

The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season.
