Revelstoke Museum & Archives celebrates Revelstoke and district in a vibrant, interactive museum where all are welcome to participate, to learn, to share, and to explore the history of the region. Learn about how we play and work in the snow, multicultural history, and much more through two floors of exhibits. Browse our Gift Shop where you'll find exclusive brands like Murchie's Tea and Rogers' Chocolates. Vintage ski patches and t-shirts and heritage posters and prints reproduced from the archives. In spring and summer months visit our public garden and picnic area while your children play at the sandbox. Downtown Historic Walking tours and Cemetery Tours can be scheduled by appointment.

Offering an à la carte restaurant, Peaks Lodge is located in Revelstoke. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Revelstoke Mountain ski lift is 20 minutes drive away. This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.

ONSITE BICYCLE RENTALS on one of British Columbias wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive 24km trail is highlighted by 2 tunnels and 18 trestles. It offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. It is the best outdoor activity in Kelowna for the whole family. The track is located at an elevation of 1.260 meters, it is relatively flat and can be cycled within 4 hours. We rent new, branded comfort bicycles in sizes for adults and children, tandems and tag-alongs or child trailers to pull the little ones, tandems, and tricycle. Rental times May-October: 9am-1pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm.
