Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is closed for the season until May 15, 2021. Most green spaces and trails are still available for your enjoyment; however, the majority of visitor services are no longer available. Be prepared and use additional caution as search and rescue services are limited. Enjoy your Gulf Islands National Park Reserve responsibly! Experience the park, an archipelago of sheltered islands, islets and reefs in the Salish Sea. Breathe in the sea air and the Mediterranean-like climate while exploring stunning beaches, peaceful coves and lush forest trails. Connect with fascinating local culture and people, or enjoy boating, kayaking, hiking and an extensive interpretive program, including a multi-route geocaching program for all ages.

Operated by the Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society, the Agassiz-Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre preserves and promotes Agassiz-Harrison Valley history, heritage and culture of Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, and Harrison Mills. Amenities include our wheelchair accessible, family friendly 1893 heritage CPR station, which houses two museum galleries, archives, gift shop, and a full service visitor information booth. There is plenty of free parking and a picnic/play area in adjacent Pioneer Park. We are located off Highway 7 in downtown Agassiz, south of the railway tracks and within walking distance to local businesses and restaurants. We are open year round. Summer hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily. Winter hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Wednesday - Saturday.

Garibaldi Provincial Park is a favorite destination of outdoor enthusiasts: it offers a range of hiking opportunities from lush alpine meadows, wildlife viewing opportunities, alpine flowers blooming in lush meadows, and hikes ranging from a few hours to a few days using map and compass. Garibaldi Park has an interesting geological background as it was created by volcanic action which created the formation of many of the parks peaks; the Black Tusk, Price Mountain, The Table, Mount Garibaldi, the CinderCone and the Glacier Pikes just to name a few. Lava from Clinker Peak is responsible for the creation of The Barrier. Behind this natural dam 300 metre deep Garibaldi Lake was formed.
