Pleasant neighbourhood in Vancouver, where innovative flavors meet local tradition. From cozy hidden gems to modern breweries and even secret art galleries, well eat and drink our way through this vibrant neighbourhood. Your guide, Tomer, started his food journey by working in some of the top kitchens around Mt Pleasant. These days, he works as a farmer and a forager supplying ingredients to those same kitchens. With lots of stories to tell, and deep connections to the neighbourhood, Tomer is your perfect guide to eat like a local in Mt. Pleasant.

We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and exploring. Through informative dialogue with our guest I look to share my knowledge of these wild places. Hey I'm Zack. AAA values our duty as stewards of the land and water. I strive to promote safe, sustainable fishing practices. Providing our clients a holistic experience, we can only enrich their knowledge of fishing techniques, tactics, fish/wildlife, and wild places. In doing so we hope to hook younger children into the thrills of fishing and exploring the great outdoors. I know my passion for fishing and the outdoors stems from a childhood out on the river / lake with a fishing rod in hand.

We facilitate a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for people to learn about our valley...about our wines, our cuisine and the natural beauty of our landscape. We pick up and drop off at most hotels, motels, B & B's in Kelowna and area. Want a little more than a wine tour? We offer Adventure Tours; Ziplining in Oyama or Peachland, and a lunch stop at a local winery then a relaxing afternoon on wine tour. A perfect combination! Our hope is that YOU will experience genuine hospitality and feel a sense of being grafted into the local community. Our guides live to fish and make every fishing trip a memorable experience. You'll leave the dock in the good care of a great guide with years of fishing our local waters. The fishing areas near Campbell River are protected from the ocean swell of the west coast of the island and are home to five species of salmon as well as bottom fish. The scenery, wild life, and fresh air are exhilarating and a perfect backdrop for a perfect fishing charter. You are welcome to bring any food and drinks you would like to enjoy on the boat. You will need a fishing licence with salmon stamp which can be purchased at our local tackle shop or purchased and printed from any computer if you search "Canadian tidal fishing licence" the site will come up. We are happy to fish groups of any size and have experience arranging fishing for corporate charters. Four on the boat is maximum, two or three are best . Ripples Winery & New Wave Distilling is a family owned and operated winery/distillery that creates wines and spirits with local ingredients using sustainable practices.
