Coastal Rainforest Safaris delivers exciting wilderness experiences by Rigid Hull Inflatable boats amongst the diverse wildlife of British Columbias Great Bear Rainforest. Departing from Port Hardy, we offer guests an immersive nature experience told from a unique, Indigenous perspective that explores our connection to the land, sea, wildlife, and the history that makes the area what it is now.

Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation. Against a breathtaking backdrop and from viewing platforms, we have optimal sight lines to view the bears in their natural habitat. Tours led by Klahoose guides and partners from Campbell River from late August to mid-October.

We are located in Sicamous right under the highway 1 bridge beside the public boat launch. We have the public launch beside us and we have a private ramp for our customers to use as well. We have 2 full service fuel pumps on the water, and have a small store with ice cream, snacks and drinks, as well as some clothes and novelty items. We offer a wide variety of rentals, Double decker pontoon boat, 21 pontoon boats, sport boats, surf boats, 14 fishing boats, sea-doos, canoes, kayaks and stand-up Paddleboards. We can get you out on the Shuswap today. We offer parking with a free shuttle for trucks and trailers or just vehicles. Located right beside the boat launches and the first on the channel we offer the friendly fuel station on the channel, with large hull cushions and friendly staff to get you safely docked and filled. While everyone enjoys the wine and the view when they come to visit, the most asked question would have to be about our name...On a cool spring morning in 1929, a small crew from Okanagan Falls set off to a deserted mining camp some 16 miles away from home. Their mission: to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.The plan called for a controlled blast of four dynamite sticks inside the church in order to "loosen the nails". Odd as it may seem, the explosion spared the wood from damage during dismantling.Save for losing the steeple, the plan succeeded. Now the 103 year old wooden church stands proudly in its second home of Okanagan Falls and is still an operating United Church. In keeping with its rather remarkable history, the church has since withstood the threat of two major floods, including the disastrous burst of the Okanagan Falls Dam in the early 1950's.In naming our VQA wines "Blasted Church" we celebrate the ingenuity of the initiative to move the church and honor those pioneers for their vision.

Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.
