In the summer there are many excellent golf courses nearby, hike and (mountain) bike trails, lakes for swimming and sun bathing, waterfalls, rafting, fly fishing, Fort Steele heritage town, the mine museum or just visit cozy, car free down town Kimberley with nice shops and restaurants. In the winter: we are close to the ski hill (only two minutes) and cross country skiing or snow shoeing starts in our back yard! Down town Kimberley is only a 5 minutes (short cut) walk and we are across from the well known restaurant The Old Bauernhaus.

Tourists may stay 2 nights for free (non-service sites), please register at the Public Works Office. The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.
