McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative. Grab the family, bring a picnic and make it a day at the Mill! 10am-4pm 7-Days/Week during the summer season, however the Mill and Steam Donkey are non operational at this present time. Bell Mountain Motel is situated in a quiet rural setting yet it is only one block off the highway. All rooms are ground level and non smoking. We have pet rooms and there is two acres for them to stretch their legs. Double and single rooms are available and most rooms have full kitchenettes. WiFi and brand new TV's with 150+ satellite channels are in each room. Kitchens have microwaves, coffee makers, fridge, cook tops and dishes and cutlery. There is lots of free parking and a large turn around at the end for trucks hauling trailers. Seasonal hot tub, horse shoe pit, BBQ and fire pit (subject to firebans) available for our guests to enjoy. We have a few rooms which are wheel chair accessible.

Two waterfront cabins & a one-bedroom suite on a half acre property on the Ucluelet harbour waterfront. Each unit sleeps 2 with a Queen bed. The cabins have kitchenettes & a deck with BBQ & 2-person Jacuzzi soaker tub. The suite has a full kitchen, a deck with BBQ & exclusive use of a hot tub. Breakfast supplies are provided in each unit, and all 3 units are pet-friendly. Our beach is perfect to launch a kayak or canoe. Lots of wildlife including deer, racoons, sea lions, river otters & Bald eagles; a Blue Heron frequents the rocks off our beach regularly. A few times a year a group of transient Orcas come into the harbor & swim right past our property!
