Our staff are avid outdoor enthusiasts, certified wilderness guides, and educators who offer a wealth of local knowledge to get you the right gear for your adventures. Whether you're shopping in store or coming on a guided tour, we strive to make your experience top notch. In summer- we'll take you paddling anywhere from Gibsons to Pender Harbour, with Sechelt Inlet and Thormanby Island inbetween! In winter we are your Dakota Ridge specialists, offering regular road and trail condition reports, 4x4 winter transportation, and of course rental equipment, tours, and a variety lessons suited to your abilities.

We have a good selection of history books, souvenir clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

Wayward Distillery is a true craft distillery, situated in the fertile Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, and has led the charge in honey-based spirits since 2014. The Parliament Buildings are open for free guided tours on weekdays throughout the year and seven days a week during the summer. Free tours are offered regularly throughout the day. Visitors are invited to discover the architectural splendour of the Parliament Buildings and learn about British Columbia's Legislative Assembly. Screamin' Reels offers full day fishing tours, eco tours, hot springs, and whale watching. Our spacious 34' charter vessel provides ample comfortable seating and our full bathroom facilities on board ensures a comfortable day for all our guests. As a full service company, we provide on-board non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, lunch and treat for the ride back to the marina in Kitimat.

A Golden Mile BnB Vacation Suite overlooks the town of Oliver, Vineyards & Orchards. The Seaglass Suite boasts a scenic backyard with outdoor seating for our Guests to enjoy. The suite is a perfect retreat with a private entrance off the patio. The Seaglass Suite offers guests kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and 1 sitting room.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. The modern facility includes a comfortable lodge with washrooms, a racer's warming/waxing hut and some trails are specifically constructed to be Paralympic skiing friendly. Night skiing available with a 3 km lit loop open until 10.

We are located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of Shawnigan Lake School, Mason's Beach, Shawnigan Lake Village and an old train railway that leads to the Government Wharf Beach and Old Mill Park Beach. The guesthouse is nestled amidst trees and shrubs providing a natural country atmosphere. Wildlife, especially deer are often seen on the property. Our rooms and suite each have a private entrance with a balcony or patio and a sitting area in the spring and summer months to enjoy.
