Your guide, Tomer, started his food journey by working in some of the top kitchens around Mt Pleasant. These days, he works as a farmer and a forager supplying ingredients to those same kitchens. With lots of stories to tell, and deep connections to the neighbourhood, Tomer is your perfect guide to eat like a local in Mt. Pleasant.

We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Sleigh Rides Through Winter Wonderland I grew up on a farm learning the value of the horse. In my early years I had a team of ponies that took kids out toboggans, which eventually led my teams and I to do Christmas Rides in town. When not doing sleigh rides, I am working my teams on the farm doing everything from chores, to working the fields. All of my years with the horses, has led me to be able to offer sleigh rides at Big White during the winter months.

Everyone from the age of six and up is welcome to enjoy this beautiful course. The nine-hole par 3 course takes approximately one hour to play, but is quite challenging. There are two ravines to drive over, and the greens are large and tricky. The course will test your short iron game and youre putting skills.
