Upper Bench believes great wine is made in the vineyard and farms sustainably, without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Upper Bench produces big bold reds and crisp dry whites. All of Upper Bench's wines come from the mature vines on our unique seven-acre vineyard and a select few other vineyards along the Naramata Bench. Upper Bench is also a CFIA registered creamery, using locally sourced, 100% pasteurized Canadian cows milk. All of our cheese are gluten and additive free, and we maintain our Safe Food for Canadians License. We offer Rentals, Guided Tours, and Lessons for kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and canoes in beautiful Brentwood Bay, British Columbia. We are open March through October and can accommodate beginner, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Brentwood Bay and adjoining Tod Inlet offer an abundance of marine life, natural beauty and picturesque sunsets! Our Swartz Bay location (at Canoe Cove Marina) offers the perfect launch spot for day exploring or multi-day adventures.
