Vancouvers old houses and the stories of the people who built and lived in them are my passion. My History Walks through Vancouvers heritage neighbourhoods: the East End/Strathcona, West End, Mount Pleasant, Grandview & Cedar Cottage, are a culmination of over two decades working as a house genealogist. During that time I produced in-depth histories of over 800 Vancouver houses. People call me the House Whisperer. The Okanagan Science Centre is a non-profit charity that is community driven. We offer hands-on, interactive science exhibits for children & adults, science camps, birthday parties, and events! Our mission is "to inspire scientific inquiry through dynamic and interactive educational programs and exhibits; and to encourage children and adults to appreciate the relevance and universality of science, and its application in the Okanagan".

The Whistler Lodge is a 42 bed backpacker's hostel, centrally located just 3km south of Whistler Village and 1km north of Whistler Creekside. Our historic lodge was built in 1965 by students from UBC's Varsity Outdoor Club and until recently, was operated by the Alma Mater Society of UBC.
