Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

Camp Valhalla is a family-friendly retreat and RV paradise on the shores of Summit Lake, in British Columbia, Canada. Radius is a forested mountainside retreat offering walk in and hike in Yurt rentals. We are situated on 1000 acres which are open to explore in the summer, spring, and fall with trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Radius is an off grid, sustainable wilderness area, and there is solar power in each yurt and we provide water and firewood for your stay. The yurts are anywhere from a 5 minute walk to a 7 km hike, and are all situated so that you feel like you are in peaceful solitude and truly a part of the natural area surrounding you, and yet only a few minutes from town and all the amenities it offers. Radius backs onto Kootenay National Park, extending the hiking and nature experience. Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch & Putt offers beautiful views of the city, as well as an excellent way of enjoying the natural beauty of the park. This popular 18-hole golf course is surrounded by pretty blossoming trees. The 18 short, contoured par 3s (none over 110 yards) are set along a course where there are no hazards in play, making this a perfect course for those new to the game. Pitch & putt is perfect for new golfers or people who want to enjoy short rounds of golf. Queen Elizabeth Pitch & Putt hosts many activities including day camps, mini tournaments and corporate functions.

Sealegs Kayaking & Marine Adventure Centre offers wildlife kayaking tours, kayak and stand up paddle board (SUP) rentals and an Eco Adventure Centre pro-shop at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith. Paddle demonstrations, safety talks and a gear fittings are included with all rentals. Eagles, seals, river otters are commonly viewed in and around our quiet harbour and family friendly beachside park.
