Yasodhara Ashram is a yoga retreat and study centre founded by Swami Sivananda Radha in 1963, in Kootenay Bay, British Columbia, Canada. We offer a wide range of yoga programs year round from a three-month intensive, to Restorative Retreats, 5&7 Day Retreats, 12 Day Yoga Journey, teacher certifications and introductions to yoga. Our popular Service programs are for those interested in learning about Karma Yoga, or the yoga of selfless service, our main spiritual practice. We are also home to the Temple of Light, symbol of peace, hope and unity open to all.

Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

2025 Season runs MAY 17th to SEPTEMBER 14th! Join Wild Water Adventures on the famous KICKING HORSE RIVER and experience the best whitewater in the region! Choose from fun & splashy Class II/III rapids or more challenging (and bigger!) Class IV rapids for an adrenaline-pumping adventure. Guests need only bring a bathing suit and towel; top-quality wetsuits, neoprene booties & gloves, spray jackets, life jackets and helmets are provided. Our River Base offers heated indoor change rooms and spacious covered decks for enjoying views of the river and mountains. Conveniently located on TransCanada Hwy #1; 45 minutes west of Lake Louise. Bilston Creek Farm is a lavender farm in Metchosin, rich in history dating back to 1851. We create beautiful experiences and craft natural products for face, body, kitchen and home.
