VanDusen Botanical Garden is a 55-acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver with over 7,500 plant species and varieties from around the world! Explore the underwater beauty of the Salish Sea - one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world! The Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea is a not-for-profit aquarium and learning centre devoted to the exploration and conservation of the Salish Sea - named after the Coast Salish Indigenous peoples of the region. Explore natural aquaria habitats of 3,500 marine amabassadors including a giant Pacific octopus, colourful rockfish, and magnificent wolf eels. Check out the marine mammal artifacts, complete with a rare orca skeleton, and take in the beautiful Coast Salish art. Journey from seashore to seafloor and discover the amazing diversity of the Salish Sea in 30 aquarium habitats teeming with marine life from anemones and nudibranchs to salmon and sculpins. Then get a close look at the weird and wonderful invertebrates in our shallow Touch Pool overlooking the beautiful Sidney waterfront. And don't miss the Features Gallery with fascinating, locally-focused exhibitions!

Groups of 4 or more, $15/person. Go-karts! Riders must be 10 years old and 54" tall to drive a single kart. Shorter racers can ride in a double kart. $18/kart.

Home to the Worlds Largest Sculptured Anvil! We are open from April 1st until September 30th, 7 days a week. Something of interest for every age. Kids of all ages love our scavenger hunt, rope making, tomato and egg sorting demonstrations. Visitors learn how people lived without electricity and can see first-hand wooden ice boxes (early refrigerators), see early windmills that pump water and produce light. nearing 100 years old and still running! For the middle aged and senior visitors our artifacts bring back many memories of how folks lived. Remembering what life was like as a kid, seeing the transition from horse power to engines. The collection of artifacts by the Association has evolved from focusing on farming equipment only, to including historical artifacts depicting all aspects of pioneer life. The Museum collection has grown to over 6,100 historical artifacts of farming equipment and pioneer life in British Columbia, on display in two buildings and an outside exhibit area.

Come See Victoria offers guided walking tours of Victoria, BC. Our History and Architecture walk traces the evolution of the city through the eyes of its architecture. Victoria has a wealth of surviving 19th century buildings ... and every building has a story! On our Victorian Characters walk you will get to know the larger-than-life personalities of Victorian Victoria. You will hear their stories and sagas, and appreciate their lasting legacy to the city, province, and country. We also offer a Historic Pub Walk, where you will tour vibrant pubs in some of the grandest heritage buildings in the city. We provide customized private walking tours to groups of all sizes.

The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see. Spirit of the West kayaking Adventures has been offering sea kayaking tours and trips around Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, since 1996. Our most popular tours travel to the orca waters of Johnstone Strait, British Columbia to kayak in the realm of the whales. We also offer trips to Desolation Sound, the Broughton Archipelago, Nuchatlitz Marine Park on the west coast of Vancouver Island and the Great Bear Rainforest on the Central Coast.
