O'Keefe Ranch was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. His family lived on site for 110 years before it was opened as an historic ranch, meaning it still houses one of the most complete collections of one family's stuff (from the Victorian and Edwardian eras) in all of the province. Located at the hub of the Pacific Rim, the Alberni Valley has many treasures for you to discover. Nestled amongst the evergreens under the ever watchful presence of Mount Arrowsmith, you will find one of these at the Alberni Golf Club. This traditional golf course has a rich history extending back to the 1920's. While there have been many improvements to the course over the years you can nevertheless feel the spirit of those who have roamed the fairways before you. This par 70 jewel follows the contours of a salmon bearing stream which comes into play on several holes and also makes its annual contribution to the world's salmon capital, Port Alberni.
