Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. Sealegs Kayaking & Marine Adventure Centre offers wildlife kayaking tours, kayak and stand up paddle board (SUP) rentals and an Eco Adventure Centre pro-shop at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith. Paddle demonstrations, safety talks and a gear fittings are included with all rentals. Eagles, seals, river otters are commonly viewed in and around our quiet harbour and family friendly beachside park.

Summer Accommodations Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing resort is a summer retreat, beautifully situated on the shores of Eleanor Lake. It is a convenient overnight option, a peaceful weekend getaway or the perfect place to host your family retreat or function. Guests stay in one of 22 handcrafted log chalets that are nestled throughout the lush gardens and landscape of the resort. All Chalets come equipped with free WiFi, satellite TV, while our private and luxury chalets feature stone fireplace, kitchen, jacuzzi tub or steam shower.

This year round resort is located approx. 1 hour south of Vanderhoof in Finger/Tatuk Provincial Park. The resort offers 7 modern cabins, with one being wheelchair friendly, complimenting the accessible dock area and lift. In addition, there are 10 campsites with a large grassy area, overlooking the creek where grizzly bears can sometimes be spotted in the fall: fishing for spawning kokanee.
