The Vancouver Maritime Museum is a fun, family-friendly place to explore and learn about the sea and the ships that sail it. Yasodhara Ashram is a yoga retreat and study centre founded by Swami Sivananda Radha in 1963, in Kootenay Bay, British Columbia, Canada. Carved into the rugged coastline of British Columbia 250 nautical miles north of Vancouver, Legacy Lodge sits within the Great Bear Rainforest in the protected waters of Pendleton Bay at the mouth of the famed Rivers Inlet. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

The current configuration has the Museum housed in the Citys former City Hall building while the object storage and Chilliwack Archives are housed in a municipally owned structure three blocks from the museum. The Museum and Archives are governed by the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society.
