Tin Whistle was named after the first locomotive train to run on the Kettle Valley Railway which when it was constructed connected the regions of the Okanagan Valley like never before. At Whistler's retail "The Shops" at the Westin, Fathom Stone Art Gallery has expanded offering stone art classes daily for locals and visitors. Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. Class participants come and go as they please making their art at their own pace. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler village. The Flora's/Bamfield Inn property is a combination of 3 buildings. The front building hosts our check in, retail and cafe space that's right on the boardwalk, featuring a large covered deck with lots of seating. The middle and largest building on the property is a 100 years old, with tons of history, and is home to an 80 seat restaurant (open daily in the summer).
