Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is a British Columbia original, sitting on Tyaughton Lake and surrounded by the Southern Chilcotin Mountains. The lodge offers a fusion of luxury and comfort while retaining a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The area is renowned for outdoor adventure, with an endless trail system providing some of the best alpine biking routes, hiking trails and nature walks that BC has to offer. Kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding are complimentary to our guests. The resort boasts a beautiful lake view dining room & patio with stunning views, high arched ceilings and a breathtaking stone fireplace. The kitchen features a seasonal a la carte menu from a passionate team of chefs. The Spa includes 3 treatment rooms, an infrared and dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, outdoor Hot Tub, yoga studio, and therapists who can assist you after sport or during your absorption of tranquillity. Additionally, guests can choose to stay at one of the three luxury wilderness chalets at the resort. Offering private accommodations for up to 18 guests (depending on the chalet), they are perfect for a family reunion or getaway. In the summer, if camping is more your approach, guests can choose from five RV lakefront sites and one non-lakefront site. We also have five tent friendly campsites available with water, washrooms, and showers. One tent per site, four people per site maximum.

Our Visitor Information Booth is located in the town of Hagensborg BC inside the Norwegian Heritage House Museum. We have local staff to help answer any questions. Our Visitor Information is open from July 2nd through the month of September. We offer up-to-date information on open trails and activities as well as information on local accommodations. ONSITE BICYCLE RENTALS on one of British Columbias wonders. Experience a part of the historical Kettle Valley Railway route built between 1912-1914. This well-established, interactive 24km trail is highlighted by 2 tunnels and 18 trestles. It offers spectacular views of Myra Canyon and Okanagan Lake. It is the best outdoor activity in Kelowna for the whole family. The track is located at an elevation of 1.260 meters, it is relatively flat and can be cycled within 4 hours. We rent new, branded comfort bicycles in sizes for adults and children, tandems and tag-alongs or child trailers to pull the little ones, tandems, and tricycle. Rental times May-October: 9am-1pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm. We also rent Gazelle pedal-assist E-Bikes (each E-Biker must be 19+) We offer ½ day guided Tour in the Myra Canyon or full day self-guided tours to Penticton, Bicycle and Wine Tours Pick-up/drop off transportation is included (Kelowna/West Kelowna) We are a sustainable tourism business Biosphere committed.
