We are a fantastic and scenic accommodation in Peachland situated right on the waterfront (400' of it!). We offer three beautifully appointed self-contained suites, with stunning Okanagan Lake views, built in 2013. All suites feature private en-suite bathrooms and fully appointed kitchenettes with air conditioning, electric fireplaces and heated bathroom floors. The common area has books, magazines, game and BBQ. Pineacre On The Lake offers a truly unique experience to get away from it all but it is within a 5-20 minute reach of Penticton, Summerland, Westbank and Kelowna. We are in the heart of wine, lake and golf country and close to a wonderful variety of restaurants. At the bottom of our path/stairs are 400 feet of waterfront with a 90 dock, raft and change cabin where you can snooze, read, relax, picnic, swim and sunbathe..as well as use our kayaks and canoe at no charge.
The Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre offers environmental education programs, events and tours at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area (CVWMA). The CVWMA is a 17,000 acre wetland habitat that is internationally recognized as a wetland of importance (Ramsar Site) as well as an Important Bird Area of Canada. Educational initiatives include: school programs, summer nature camps, guided canoe and walking tours, and a variety of special events suitable for people of all ages. Join us seasonally from May-October for programs. Access to trail systems that meander through the wetland is possible year round.
