The hosts will welcome you aboard the Laroan, the 62-foot Transport-Canada-certified boat. Outfitted with sightseeing decks, a BBQ grill, and a full kitchen/dining area, and washroom facilities, the boat acts as a home away from home during tours of the lake, as well as the Harrison River and Port Douglas. The Ferry Building Gallery is a public community gallery operated by the District of West Vancouver. Located at the center of the Ambleside Landing area in one of West Vancouvers oldest buildings, it serves as a hub for arts and culture. The gallery presents up to 18 exhibitions annually to more than 500 visitors each week. The mandate of the gallery is to support the development of emerging and established artists from the North Shore, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast. By organizing art lectures, workshops, tours and programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the North Shore, the gallery provides valuable and enriching artist-led experiences to the community. The Ferry Building Gallery is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Musqueam Nation. We recognize and respect them as nations in this territory and their historic connection to the lands and waters around us since time immemorial.

The Greenwood Visitor Centre & Museum offers a wide range of provincial, regional & local publications. A self-guided Heritage Walking Tour, Phoenix Interpretive Forest Driving Tour and many maps are available. The Museum features our mining history, Japanese Internment gallery & other interesting displays. Our gift shop includes local Japanese art, rocks, minerals, jewelry, cards & books. A guided tour of our 1903 BC Supreme Courthouse is popular with our visitors. Stained glass windows depict the 7 provinces in the confederation of Canada in 1902. All proceeds fund salmon conservation efforts on Northern Vancouver Island.

We have a large parking lot with easy access for RVs, a wide variety of brochures that cover most places in BC, picnic tables, and a filtered water station. We sell local merchandise and nature books. We have maps to show where you can pan for gold in the Rivers and keep the gold!
