Sunstone Golf Club is nestled between 2 rivers at the base of Mount Ts'zil which is also known as, Mount Currie. Mount Ts'zil dominates the skyline of Sunstone Golf Club which sits upon a sprawling golf course located in Pemberton, BC. Sunstone Golf Club offers two distinctly different layouts. The first nine holes of the course is sprawled across the grassy, wide-open Meadows. The front nine features the course's signature hole, the par-4 eighth. This hole's trademark is the tricky island green, which requires a tremendously skillful second shot. The densely forested back nine is tighter and more difficult than the first half of the layout. Water hazards come into play throughout but they are mostly concentrated on the first nine. Beyond Bliss Suites & Spa have two different accommodation offerings, both are beautifully modern, clean and comfortable. There are four one bedroom suites with a King Bed and Queen pullout sofabed, full kitchens,jetted tubs and private balconies. The suites are 700 - 800 sq feet in size and are very comfortable for two and spacious enough for four guests. Two of these suites have an ocean view with a sweeping view of the straight, the mountains and all the local ocean wildlife. **NOTE: there is NO ELEVATOR at this property and it is one flight of stairs from the main reception on Marine Ave if you choose a suite. There are also 3 hotel rooms with ocean views and a semi private deck. They have no kitchen facilities, no bathtub but a lovely shower and are STREET LEVEL entry with no stairs from Marine Ave. With a full service day spa and great retail onsite we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Powell River with lots of restaurants and shopping to walk to.
