Crowsnest Vineyards was purchased by the Heinecke family in 1985 when the Winery, Restaurant and Guesthouse were launched. Named after the Crowsnest Highway #3, the family was an early contributor to the development of the Similkameen wine region and the wine and food has continuously evolved over the years. Siblings, Sascha and Anna Heinecke were instrumental in the evolution of the business and with the retirement of their parents, took over leadership in 2018 with a bold new vision. Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention.
