Kilby Park is situated on the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser rivers in scenic Harrison Mills. It features a beautiful 35-site campground, a day-use area, sandy beaches, nature trails and a boat launch. The Park is at the west end of Kilby Road, within walking distance of the Historic Site. Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping. Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. Douglas Reynolds Gallery was established in 1995, and is located in Vancouver on Granville street between 7th and 8th avenues in the South Granville gallery district. We specialize in renowned Northwest Coast artwork. The gallery showcases museum quality pieces which make use of contemporary media such as resin, bronze, glass and aluminum. Works include masks, totem poles, bentwood boxes, sculpture, gold and silver jewelry, and early historic objects. Director & owner Douglas Reynolds, has over twenty years of experience dealing with Northwest Coastal native art. The gallery offers pieces by well-known artists such as Bill Reid, Robert Davidson, Jim Hart, Don Yeomans, Beau Dick and Klatle-bhi, while also supporting emerging artists such as Jay Simeon, Phil Gray, David R. Boxley, and Marcus Alfred. Works by these artists can be found in museums and private collections worldwide. We take pride in our friendly, knowledgeable staff.
