10 room lodge with RV sites and a private dining room for guests. There is Burger Bar open from May 1 - Sept. 30 . We are closed for the season at this time except for the Lodging part. We offer meals to our overnight guests and also love to do retreats, family re-unions, weddings, and big birthday events. Call if you have an idea and we will try and make it work!

Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Skwlx te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Band), is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing. Skwlx te Secwepemculecw have committed to a rebuild with hopes to open in 2026. The Resort is still open, including Le7ke Spa, Conference Center, Talking Rock Golf Course (seasonal) & Jack Sams Restaurant (seasonal).

The Villa Motel is located right by Nelsons Orange Bridge, with views of Kootenay Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is ideally situated away from Nelsons city noise with plenty of free parking while being a close 4 minute drive to Baker Street.

The Visitor Centre in New Denver is the hub of local information for travelers, adventure seekers, and those wanting to experience the local Kootenay lifestyle. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.

Private sandy beach, shade trees, lakeside patio, and beach kitchen. Our beach cabin offers two lakefront suites, each with outstanding views of Wasa Lake and the spectacular Rocky Mountains. These suites have their own private entrance, deck, air-conditioner, workspace and private detached bathroom. The main house suite boasts many windows allowing great views of the lake and mountains. It has a private entrance, deck, ensuite bathroom, air conditioner, and workspace. All rooms get access to a shared, fully equipped outdoor beach kitchen. A simple, continental breakfast is available. Wasa is nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Mountain Range, located on Highway 93/95 in the Kootenay River Valley between Skookumchuck and Fort Steele, 38 km northeast of Kimberley and 25 km north of Cranbrook.
