Off Grid Log cabin accommodations are located in Dease Lake, B.C an hour from the historic village of Telegraph Creek, BC and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine. 16 Mile Cabins offer 3 distinct and unique cabins to choose from along with two new tenting sites. Cabins are powered by solar and heated with wood stoves. Walking trails are around all the cabins for guests to get out and enjoy our northern boreal forest. Relax in nature. Picnic tables, fire pits, bbqs, Badminton net & rackets, mountain bikes, horseshoe pit, and hot tub rentals are some amenities offered . Your ferry fare includes the return trip and seniors travel free from Monday - Thursday. Cable TV, a microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, and a mini fridge is standard in each brightly decorated room with use of a communal kitchen. Private kitchens and kitchenettes are also available in select rooms. Free wifi is offered in all areas. Whale-watching, sports fishing and crabbing charters are available, just ask us! Beach combing for sea-glass, hiking trails and kayaking opportunities are also available from our property! Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond.
