Established in 1971, the Sidney Museum has served the community of Sidney and North Saanich since then. Run by the Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums, the museum promotes awareness of local heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections. Its permanent collection consists of over 6000 items. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating monthly exhibits. These temporary exhibits include everything from an annual Quilting display, a Teddy Bear Christmas Display, and of course the famous 3-month long Lego Exhibit. The Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums is a non-profit organization, and the Museum is open to the public by donation.

Leghorn Ranch is a Premier Full Service Horseback Trail Riding outfit just 30 minutes from Vancouver. We offer guided horseback riding tours from March through to October. IMPORTANT: We practice catch & release for ALL trips. Under NO exceptions do we keep fish to bring home to eat. Minimum age requirement of 10. All guests MUST weigh between 80-250 lbs (36-113 kgs) due to limited equipment at this time. After picking you up from your accommodation in Whistler we will get you looking like a local BC angler by putting you in a pair of waders and boots. This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry! Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Cutthroat Trout and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a small stream, river or lake. Our thought process is simple. Drive less and fish more to maximize your time out on the water fishing. There are plenty of lunkers a short drive from the Whistler village.

Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Skwlx te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Band), is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake. Located midway between Vancouver & Calgary the Resort is located just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing. Skwlx te Secwepemculecw have committed to a rebuild with hopes to open in 2026. The Resort is still open, including Le7ke Spa, Conference Center, Talking Rock Golf Course (seasonal) & Jack Sams Restaurant (seasonal).
