We believe hard work makes honest wine. Our small, family-run vineyard sites in Oliver and Osoyoos create concentrated wines expressive of our desert terroir. We invite you to try our portfolio of estate-grown, bold wines that are our favourite to make (and enjoy!).
Founded in 1993 and open year-round, Tinhorn Creek offers one of the valleys best wine experiences. No matter what your level of wine knowledge, our friendly winery team enthusiastically welcomes you and makes the culture of wine a fun experience. Tasting Room, Gift Shop, award-winning Miradoro Restaurant, Tours & Tasting Experiences, Demonstration Vineyard, Amphitheatre - Concerts & Events, Golden Mile Hike, Picnic Area & Patio, and Wine Club. We source fruit from our own vineyards: 150 acres of prime land on two very distinct benches - the Black Sage Bench and the Golden Mile Bench. The unique characteristics of each bench create the terroir-driven wines that are classic illustrations of the place they are grown. Open year-round March-May: 10am 5pm | May-September: 10am 7pm | September-October: 10am 6pm | Nov - Feb: 10am 4pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Experience the excitement of the early West Coast fur trade at Fort Langley and stand in the spot where BC was proclaimed a British colony in 1858. Explore the scenic fort - built by the Hudsons Bay Company in 1827 - where fur traders once exchanged furs, salmon and cranberries with Indigenous communities. Fort Langley is packed with interactive displays and activities for the whole family, including a children's play area. Watch blacksmithing, barrel-making and baking demonstrations, or pan for gold and laugh along with an interpretive program. Additional experiences include overnight stays in a furnished oTENTik, audio tours, and special events. Free parking. The Lighthouse RV Park and Campground is located in Fanny Bay, B.C. on Highway 19A (Old Island Highway). We offer 30 oceanfront full hook-up RV sites. We are located 53 Km north of Nanaimo, B.C. and 32 Km South of Courtenay, B.C. We are 7 Km from the Buckley Bay Ferry Terminal which is the gateway to Denman and Hornby Island. Our sites offer an oceanfront view of Denman Island and the Chrome Island Lighthouse. Campers and tenting is also welcome at the Lighthouse RV Park. If you're hauling a boat we have a boat launch on site with nightly moorage available.
