Vancouver Islands largest shopping mall is conveniently located just 7 minutes away and only 10 minutes to downtown Nanaimo and Departure Bay Ferry.Brannen Lake RV Park and Campsite has clean washrooms, coin operated hot showers and laundry facilities, Wi-Fi and a well stocked convenience store. Choose from over 120 large sites varying from private and wooded to grassy and sunny. The WOODS on Pender launched in June/July 2015 and has grown to 8 Airstreams, 3 Rustic Cabins, 1 Intech Rover, 9 room WOODS Motel and 5 Bunkie Cabins that are paired with Airstreams. We also have the Coffee + Kitchen farm-to-table restaurant and the newly launched CAMP Store inside Coffee + Kitchen selling provisions. We also have the WOODS Massage Airstream with two full time massage practitioners. Camp Vibes with an authentic camping experience but will all the modern urban amenities like Netflix, digital cable, BOSE sound bars, french press coffee, luxury mattresses, hammocks, fire pits and 10 private hot tubs. We even have a proper whiskey sour to go with your freshly milled sourdough pizza made with locally grown and sourced ingredients.

The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.

Enjoy the restored Tram Car 1220, originally built in 1912, and the largest artefact in the City of Richmonds museum collection. Housed in a building inspired by the architecture of the first Steveston tram station, Tram Car 1220 now rests on its original rail tracks. Nicknamed the Sockeye Special, the interurban tram service carried workers from Vancouver to Steveston to work in the canneries, from 1905 to 1958.
