Located in the South Cariboo Region of beautiful British Columba, this park like wilderness retreat known as Ruth Lake Lodge has been hosting guests since the late 1940s. The 37-acre property offers many groomed trails and access to crown land for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding (your own horses). The 17-acre fenced pasture is available for guests travelling with horses. The waterfront area is clean and well maintained. Fishing boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent. A large fire pit by the water is perfect for late night lakeside fires. 3 - 2 bedroom cabins with lakeview 5 bedroom Community Lodge with shared kitchen and bathrooms, for mingling with others, large dinning area, games room and lounge.

Wine Tours, Bike Tours, Dinner Transfers, Airport Transfers, Metered Taxi.The cost can be split by anywhere up to 6 passengers. So....very affordable. Last year there was a demand for the wine tours by boaters coming here from many ports on the lake.

This year round resort is located approx. 1 hour south of Vanderhoof in Finger/Tatuk Provincial Park. Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. We've traveled all over BC, Alberta, and the rest of Canada, as well as England and China; providing world class training in both canoeing and first aid. Our Rentals Operation is located at Kearsley Creek Campground, and offers Canoe, Kayak and SUP rentals all summer long on the beautiful Stave Lake!
