John Henry's Resort & Marina offers 4 cozy oceanfront cottages and a marina, amidst spectacular Sunshine Coast scenery and beautiful gardens. Quiet and peaceful with views of the harbour, yet within a short walk of John Henry's General Store and Fuel Dock. The Canada Post is attached to the store and inside we offer the Cafe at John Henry's (open on a seasonal basis). Two separate suites, both with private 3-piece ensuite and kitchenette, top of the line queen beds, heated tile floors, beautiful Pender Harbour view, huge deck with hot-tub and BBQ, and including a delicious 3-course breakfast. Built in 1928, Assiniboine Lodge was North Americas first backcountry ski lodge. Today it retains its rustic charm and welcoming spirit. Nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Assiniboine, the Lodge is surrounded by soaring peaks, alpine meadows filled with wildflowers, larch trees and turquoise lakes. Located 28 kilometers from the nearest road, it is a place of incredible peacea place where we disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature, family and friends. Winter and summer we are passionate about sharing our mountain home with our guests!
