Built in 1928, Assiniboine Lodge was North Americas first backcountry ski lodge. Today it retains its rustic charm and welcoming spirit. Nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Assiniboine, the Lodge is surrounded by soaring peaks, alpine meadows filled with wildflowers, larch trees and turquoise lakes. Located 28 kilometers from the nearest road, it is a place of incredible peacea place where we disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature, family and friends. Winter and summer we are passionate about sharing our mountain home with our guests!

Formally, Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre, TidePools is a unique collect-and-release aquarium located inside Gibsons Public Market in the seaside town of Gibsons, BC. TidePools houses 30 exhibits displaying natural habitats and local marine fish and invertebrates from the waters of the Howe Sound. This includes interactive touch tanks and scavenger hunts! The animals are collected by our team of professional SCUBA divers. The animals are then housed in the Centre for 6-18 months, depending on the species, and released back to the ocean with help from the entire community. Displays are always changing, allowing the diversity of the marine life we have in the Howe Sound to shine. We host formal education programs with schools, run summer camps and bring in experts to deliver engaging presentations on ocean topics. Come visit us soon!

Brigadoon is a unique 9 hole course with 2 par 4 holes and 7 par 3's, playing to 1500 yards. Golfers of all ages and playing abilities will enjoy the course, but those expecting an easy par 3 will be surprised. Adventure rentals at the base of the dogtooth mountains. Our first custom geodome treehouse is scheduled to be open in the spring/summer of 2022! Our seasonal "Caboose" Mackenzie Visitor Centre is open from May to September and is located at the Junction of Hwy 97 & Hwy 39.
