Nancy Greene Provincial Park
Facilities: 14 campsites, day-use area, public beach, rustic picnic cabin, water hand pump. Location: 26 km west of Castelgar on Highway 3. An easily-accessible, roadside park with a sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming and convenient site for day-users and campers. The park is a popular overnight stop for RVer's and also provides day-use for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It's picturesque lake makes it a great spot to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, and nordic skiing in the winter. Grizzly Bear sightings are common in Spring and early Summer. Open from May 15 through the last weekend in September.

The Osoyoos Desert Centre is a 67 acre nature interpretive facility where visitors can learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. We offer units with hot water, showers, toilets, fridges, stoves with ovens and bar-b-ques. We also have units with just cold running water and toilets. There are rustic cabins available with outhouses. We have waterfront and upper section campsites. There are centrally located washrooms with coin operated showers for those guests who do not have these amenities in the unit. There are electric motorboats, rowboats, kayaks canoes and pedal boats available for rent.

McLean Mill National Historic Site
McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative. Grab the family, bring a picnic and make it a day at the Mill! 10am-4pm 7-Days/Week during the summer season, however the Mill and Steam Donkey are non operational at this present time.
