Chims Cabins is located on the west side of Port Alberni along Highway 4, just a 57 minute drive from the city centre and event venues. Ideal for travelers heading to Tofino, visiting for work, or couples seeking quiet comfort. We offer six (6) self-contained cabins with private entrances, full kitchens, and mountain views. Cabins feature queen beds or a combination of queen and double beds, with pull-out couches and roll-up cots available in select units. Amenities include free Rogers Business Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and one dedicated parking spot per unit (extra parking available upon request). Our eco-conscious property offers on-site garbage, recycling, and food waste disposal. Rates are based on double occupancy (2 guests sharing a queen bed) or number of beds provided. $25 + tax per night applies for each extra guest using the pull-out or cot. Family-owned and operated, Chims Cabins offers the comforts of home in a peaceful setting.

The coolest new activity in the Kootenays! Kokanee Mountain Zipline will provide customers with the incredible freedom of flight high above Kokanee Creek and a view of the variety of natural flora and fauna, while at the same time encouraging preservation of the area's significant natural resources and history. This 1.5-2 hour tour with two professional guides on six ziplines will take you up to 300ft off the ground, along 2400ft of the tree canopies. Enjoy a beautiful forest setting with the whole family... 50lbs minimum weight limit so the little folks can fly too! Our season runs from the beginning of May to the end of October. Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch & Guest Cottage ~ Buffalo Tours. A working Buffalo & Guest Ranch. We offer educational buffalo tours daily May thru September. The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration. We also offer year round accommodations in our fully furnished guest cottage and our peaceful cabin by the creek,, Wagon in the Woods and Buffalero's Bunkhouse in the Barn. Coombs Country Campground is a 34 acre RV park and campground located 5 minutes from both Parksville and Qualicum Beach on the way to Tofino. We are located next the Coombs Rodeo grounds and close to all the shops in Coombs.
