The Visitor Centre in New Denver is the hub of local information for travelers, adventure seekers, and those wanting to experience the local Kootenay lifestyle. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.

Lakeside camping on beautiful Puntzi lake , 12 sites with full and partial hook ups , 6 sites right on the lake ,pull through for big rigs. All sites have fire pit, picnic tables. The campground has wifi, Sani-dump, Shower house and washrooms, Boat launch, boat docks, fish cleaning station, play ground. Now open our new 2 bedroom cabin, queen bed and two twin beds, 3 piece bathroom, all linens provided ,full kitchen, wood stove in front room. also loon retreat #1 and #2 both with full bathrooms and kitchens . one side has a queen bed and other has a pull out double couch bed. Great view of the lake on the large open deck to watch the pelicans and fish jumping. Open May thru Oct. 31 for business, reunions, weddings, fishing and hunting groups. We provide meals as requested and have a bakery/cafe open for lunch and Dinner . you can request breakfast .Come try our famous chilcotin cinnamon buns and carrot cake.. We have fishing for Kokanee, Rainbow trout, Hiking & Walking trails, 4 wheeling trails,Kayaking ,canoeing and much more. Want to come spend the day or a week with us . We welcome guests for free wine tastings. Guests are also able to purchase locally produced white, red, Rosé, sparkling, Ice wine, and dessert wines including port style wines. Come and join us for a great day. Pick your favorite bottle and feel free to have picnic on our ground with the beautiful view of the lake. (glasses are available for hire free of charge, deposit requires and will be refunded once the glasses are returned in good condition) B&B is also available should you require to stay overnight.

Journey back in time at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, a volunteer-led museum and restoration project located in Fairfield. On Thursdays and Fridays at 11AM and 1PM, or Saturdays at 2PM, walk down the path past heritage apple trees and beautiful gardens and step into one of only a few 1860s houses still standing in Victoria. From the bright and airy drawing room to the charming childrens bedroom, the house has been restored with extraordinary care to appear as it did when the Roscoe family called it home.
