In spring and summer months visit our public garden and picnic area while your children play at the sandbox. Downtown Historic Walking tours and Cemetery Tours can be scheduled by appointment.
The Museum at Campbell River
See, hear and touch the coastal history at the award-winning Museum at Campbell River. Explore the vibrant and contemporary exhibits of First Nations cultures, sit behind the wheel of an early logging truck, step aboard a float house raft, and learn about early days of recreational and commercial fishing. View the film about the destruction of Ripple Rock in the 30-seat vintage theatre. Browse through the Museum Shop, which features First Nations carvings and jewelry, local art and books about the coast. Open year round.

The Qualicum Beach Museum chronicles the social history of Qualicum Beach including First Nations, early pioneers and 'local characters'. It is also home to a paleontology exhibit and fossil collection renowned for its scientific and research value, as well as the Powerhouse Discovery Centre, a brick and steel heritage building with exhibits about power and energy. The museum maintains an extensive archive of local historic documents, photographs and artefacts and responds to inquiries from the general public.

Overlooking Quesnel Lake and the mouth of the Quesnel River, in the rural community of Likely, this 12 room motel offers a full bathroom, satellite tv, free wifi, telephone and a mini fridge in each room. Kettles, coffee makers and microwaves are available on request. Pet friendly rooms are also available for an extra fee. Located on the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail at the south end of the Backroad to Barkerville, this is a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay before venturing out sightseeing or enjoying the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. Please note: this centre is normally closed for Statutory Holidays from September - June.

Tetsa River Regional Park
Located 96 kms north of Fort Nelson, Tetsa River Regional Park offers 25 private, unserviced forested camp sites, day use area with picnic shelter and a children's playground. Foot access to the beautiful Tetsa River provides an opportunity for fly or rod fishing and wildlife viewing. Camp fees include firewood and are $20 per night, and by reservation only. Open May-September annually. Please note that picnic shelter and playground are closed under COVID-19 measures.
