The Neptune's Jewel is the newest addition to the citys Charter Fleet and is certified by Transport Canada. It is a stunning mid-sized dinner yacht built to cruise Vancouver and entertain as many as 47 guests. The yacht is perfect for parties, carol ships, fireworks nights, weddings, and corporate events. The yacht is air conditioned, has very large windows, an entertainment system, a large upper deck and with setting on the bow. The Jewel is moored at Downtown Coal Harbour's 'Bayshore West Marina' just West of the Westin Hotel and next door to the entrance to Stanley Park. Ample parking and public transportation.

Boaters mooring at the government dock are welcome to stroll the grounds, garden, trails, and meet the world renowned wharfinger. There are showers, laundry, ceramic art and a spectacular veggie garden. Mark has been wharfinger for 25 years now and is really beginning to get the hang of it. Come see.

Learn about the importance of bees to agriculture, an overview of the hive, and enjoy viewing the bees, or book an extended tour where they will open up a hive for you to see. Tours also include a taste of honey and must be booked in advance. Based on the philosophy healthy bees are happy bees, Arlo's strives to create a clean environment of minimum stress. We have four guest rooms with room for up to 12 guests. Each room has a queen bed as well as at least one twin bed. All four rooms share two bathrooms. There is a billiards table and TV along with a large selection of movies to enjoy, in the winter times we have a nice wood stove to warm you while you relax for the evening. Breakfast is served every day on your time schedule. Lunch and Supper are also available with prior notice. We are open Year Around but are petty busy during our hunting season August 1 through Oct 15.

The Victoria Golf Club, founded in 1893, is the oldest course in Canada on its original location, and second oldest in North America. The course began as 14 holes but quickly expanded to 18 in 1895. There have been at least three different lay-outs - the one played today was finalized in the mid-1920s (after a decision in 1923 to end the practice of hitting tee shots on two holes across the ever-busier Beach Drive). Our stately Clubhouse, completed in 1928, is a registered Canadian Historic Place and has undergone a number of expansions and renovations (including the most recent in 1993) and provides a grand and comfortable venue to begin your own memories. When you walk through this storied building you'll be reminded of a rich history of golf, companionship and community that spans over generations. Perhaps one of the more obscure yet heartwarming examples is a series of photos of a foursome on the course, taken annually on the same date over five decades. Golfing Legends For more than a century, famous names have graced our course, including golfing greats Harry Vardon, Byron Nelson, Joyce Wethered, Ben Hogan, Al Geiberger, Pat Bradley, George Knudson, Sam Snead, Dawn Coe Jones and Johnny Miller just to mention a few. Numerous celebrities, like Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Wayne Gretzky, Pamela Anderson and Kiefer Sutherland have also been drawn to the seaside links through the years, not only to play but also in support of charitable causes. History continues to be made in the annual Victoria and Seattle GC inter-club, a home and home friendly that is the oldest international golf tournament in North America (since 1895). The Seniors North West Championship, representing players of various levels from the U.S Pacific northwest, British Columbia and Alberta, continues to be hosted by VGC for eighty plus years now.
