Holly Hill Petting Farm is the proud home of Vancouver Island's only baby wallabies! We're an interactive and expansive petting farm nestled in the heart of Campbell River. There's always something special happening at the farm, from the Christmas Stable with Santa to the Easter Extravaganza and Pumpkin Patch. From March through October, you're invited to explore and immerse yourself in our free-ranging barnyard. Get ready for a truly hands-on experience as you hold chickens, snuggle baby bunnies, brush mini goats, and hand-feed our friendly alpacas and horse. If you're lucky, you might even witness the birth of a newborn sheep or goat! Currently open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for drop-in visitors. Sunstone Golf Club is nestled between 2 rivers at the base of Mount Ts'zil which is also known as, Mount Currie. Mount Ts'zil dominates the skyline of Sunstone Golf Club which sits upon a sprawling golf course located in Pemberton, BC. Sunstone Golf Club offers two distinctly different layouts. The first nine holes of the course is sprawled across the grassy, wide-open Meadows. The front nine features the course's signature hole, the par-4 eighth. This hole's trademark is the tricky island green, which requires a tremendously skillful second shot. The densely forested back nine is tighter and more difficult than the first half of the layout. Water hazards come into play throughout but they are mostly concentrated on the first nine. The Boundary Museum Society was established in 1958, and incorporated in 1980. From its inception until 2009, the Boundary Museum Society operated out of the downtown core of Grand Forks, BC. In 2009, the Boundary Museum moved into the former Fructova School, now called the Fructova Heritage Site. The Fructova Heritage Site was built by the Christian Communities of Universal Brotherhood (CCUB) Doukhobors in 1929 as a facility to teach English and academics to the Doukhobor children of the Boundary area. The school was in use until the late 1940's. The Boundary Museum currently features five larger exhibits - the Doukhobors, a schoolroom, local wildlife & environment, historic store in addition to several smaller exhibits on First Peoples, China town in Grand Forks, forestry, sports, and music. Exhibits change from time to time. You will also see a Doukhobor bread oven and perhaps be able to participate in bread making or other activities in the summer months.
