Seal Bay RV Park & Campground
Seal Bay RV Park is one of Vancouver Islands finest, privately owned, fully serviced, year-round campgrounds. In a park-like setting, all sites are either 30 or 50 amp and also have water, sewer and cable connections. For your convenience wifi is available along with Shaw Go. The washrooms are heated, clean and showers are coin operated. A coin operated laundry is also on site. Wilderness tenting sites are open during the Summer months. If you are looking to get away for some peace and quiet this is the place to be, no pool, no playground. There is a beautiful pond stocked with rainbow trout and fly-fishing is available some of the time. A trail directly into Seal Bay Nature Park gives you an opportunity to go biking or hiking and in 30 minutes you can be down at Seal Bay. An ideal place to base your stay in the Comox Valley, 10 kms from either Courtenay or Comox.
Filberg Park
A gem of Vancouver Island Heritage; Filberg Park is nine acres of breathtakingly landscaped waterfront green space, gardens and heritage buildings, in Comox, British Columbia. The park features 130 varieties of trees, seasonal gardens, and hundreds of rhododendrons.At the heart of the site is the 1930s heritage lodge, the former home of local pioneers Robert and Florence Filberg. Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park have become a popular venue for picnics, weddings, art shows and special events including the popular Filberg Festival held each year on BC Day long weekend in August. Amenities include the Filberg Gift Shop* and Filberg Tea House. Both are open seasonally May to September.Entry to the Lodge is by donation and the park is free of charge except during special events. *Lodge and Gift Shop are open subject to volunteer availability.
Valhalla Pines Campground and Guesthouse
This is a 6 acre campground in a quiet forested rural-residential area with big trees and very few mosquitoes. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. There are private huts and tent and RV sites. It is beautiful land . Shared amenities include a community building with a full kitchen, bathrooms with free hot showers and flush toilets and a wood stove. Other amenities include free WiFi, rain-shelters, picnic tables, a barbecue area, fire pits and hammocks. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are 35 minutes away. Nelson has many fine restaurants and a thriving art, music and dance scene. Stay here as a base for outdoor adventure, to reconnect with the forest, or just to relax. The Slocan River is ideal for floating or paddling and its very close. Other activities include hiking, climbing, biking, artist and farm tours, markets, geology, mining, mushrooms, forest bathing, cannabis and plant medicines, garden tours, native history and more. Adventure awaits.

Located in the heart of Whistler Creekside, Southside Lodge is situated 400m from the Creekside Gondola. Each room has everything you need to work/play and have a comfortable stay. There is a Washroom, Shower, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Cable TV, High Speed WiFi, Double bed, Single bed, Desk, Chair and Locker (bring your own lock) in every room. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, warm, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price close to the Lifts. If you are looking for luxury, youre in the wrong place. We are a Ski/Snowboard/Bike Lodge, plain and simple. Our building is old. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need to have a great time in Whistler, without breaking the bank. You can always bring your gear into the rooms for piece of mind, bikes and skis included. We understand the two most important things are your laptop and your gear, and you want to keep them close. The Southside Lodge has 7 private cozy rooms available daily, weekly or monthly. We no longer offer shared accommodation. There is a shared full kitchen on the 3rd floor. The kitchen has two ranges, ovens, fridge/freezers and plenty of pots, pans, glassware, cutlery, etc. If you want to save money and cook your own food everything you need is there. That being said, the world famous Southside Diner is located on the ground floor. Theyre breakfasts are legendary and the line up on weekends is always out the door. There is a coin laundry, Southside Suds in the basement to keep your gear clean. Owned by the Southside Diner, the hours of operation are the same as the Southside Diner.

Comox Air Force Museum
The mission of the Comox Air Force Museum is to preserve and teach the history and heritage of the Royal Canadian Air Force with a focus on CFB Comox, 19 Wing, and the west coast of Canada. A self-guided tour begins at the dawn of military aviation in WWI, WWII, Korea, the Cold War and United Nations Peacekeeping before reaching the section that features all of 19 Wing's past and present squadrons. The research library contains aviation reference materials, technical manuals, personal accounts, biographies, logbooks, and photographs. A well stocked gift shop is filled with clothing, hats, toys, and exclusive RCAF memorabilia. Heritage Air Park is home to a collection of aircraft that once flew at CFB Comox.
