Swiss Lodge B&B is offering a beautiful lake & mountain view in a quiet, private area surrounded by 30 acres. We are located uptown only minutes from downtown Salmon Arm and the Shuswap Lake. Very quiet and peaceful area. There are many parking spots on our property. Very safe place. Generous inside-& /outside common area. All Suites with separate entrance & private washroom/Shower. Great half way stop between Vancouver-Calgary. Our guest says - the perfect place to stay longer. The B&B Suites are all on the ground floor! 100 % Wheelchair accessible. The building was designed as a B&B from the owner. The large half covered Patio invites you to relax & enjoy the peaceful scenery. Gabriola has beautiful natural spots to explore: Malaspina Galleries, Sandwell Provincial Park, Drumbeg Provincial Park and Gabriola Sands Provincial Park. We have a variety of restaurants, shops, accommodations, lots of recreation options. Gabriola is known as the Isle of the Arts.

You can see the Rocky Mountains from everywhere in town, from all the motels, but it is not comparable to our view, just like you see it from an airplane or a bird's eye. Room price includes hot breakfast served in our restaurant with a variety of items to find your favorite one. It is not a buffet, rather a freshly served breakfast made by our Hungarian Chef, just like our dinners. We have an extensive menu for the evening meals, a variety of Hungarian, western and vegetarian dishes. You can watch the sunset while dining or from your private balcony, and the sunrise from your bed if you wish. We have pet friendly and wheelchair accessible suites on the main floor. Our staff are all trained Tourism/Visitor Information Counsellors who are happy to answer questions and offer local insider knowledge. If you can't make it in to the qathet Visitors Centre in person, we are available to answer questions over the phone, or by email. We're happy to help you plan your visit to the Sunshine Coast and qathet region, including Powell River, Lund, Savary Island, and Texada Island. The Blue Horse Folk Art gallery was built by two Salt Spring Island artists, Anna Gustafson and Paul Burke. This charming space houses their most recent works of art, and is open to the public. Anna's raku vases and lamps are always in stock, along with her other projects, including gorgeous encaustic paintings.
