ABOUT US The Orchard RV Retreat is on an agricultural land reserve. We grow apples for market and vegetables, herbs and edible flowers for personal use. The RV Accommodation includes five fully serviced sites. We welcome families and groups for reunions and retreats as well as individuals looking for a peaceful getaway. Sorcerer Lodge is a remote helicopter accessed backcountry lodge located in the Selkirk Mountains near Golden BC and on the border Glacier Nation Park. We offer ski touring, snowboarding and mountaineering packages both guided/catered or self service. The terrain is heavily glaciated and not recommended for beginners. A variety of tree skiing gets you outside on the worst weather days and open glades and glacier runs allow access to many peaks in the area.

One of the oldest Estate Wineries in all of British Columbia, Blue Grouse is truly a magical place! Nestled on a 65 arce piece of unspoiled Cowichan Valley countryside, this winery and vineyard produces some of the most awarded wines on the entire island! From Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Ortega, Bacchus and the very rare Black Muscat, Blue Grouse produces new classic wines from old island vines.

Wine Tours, Bike Tours, Dinner Transfers, Airport Transfers, Metered Taxi.The cost can be split by anywhere up to 6 passengers. So....very affordable. Last year there was a demand for the wine tours by boaters coming here from many ports on the lake.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.
