Our guests are welcome to use our paddle boards or kayaks and we also provide fishing boat rentals. The Chilcotin Region, where distancing comes naturally, is British Columbias last frontier, a true wilderness and back country. Situated between the Fraser River and the Coast Mountains, gateway to the Great Bear Rainforest, this region provides some of the most diverse opportunities for outdoor recreation and Nimpo Lake is part of this enchanting area. The nearby forested community trails are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, photography & bird watching. The viewpoints on these trails have breathtaking, expansive views of the ranchlands, forests and Coast Mountains. Guests can take advantage of a flightseeing tour and have a birds' eye view of Hunlen Falls, Rainbow Mountains and the Monarch Icefields. The rare white pelican, bald eagles, loons and river otters are just some of the diverse species that you will find locally. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. Bright and airy self contained 1000 ft2 suites , and a 2000 ft2 house overlooking Orofino Vineyard and Mountain and the spectacular Similkameen Valley are the perfect home base for a dreamy wine or outdoor themed vacation in this beautiful part of the world. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, mountains and a short distance to the picturesque Similkameen River, the suites and guest house offer all amenities needed for a relaxing get away. We have a 1 Bedroom suite, a 2 Bedroom suite, both complete with large vaulted ceiling kitchens opening onto a private deck with barbecue and seating overlooking our vineyard. The 3 Bedroom guest house has an open spacious floorplan, and multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas. Bicycles are available for borrowing to explore our wonderful valley and Orofino Winery is conveniently located next to the suites.Laundry facilities are available upon request.

Connect your smartphone to apple carplay or android auto and hit the road with ease… and a map! The rooftop tents comfortably sleep two adults, and there are storage options to bring an extra tent so a few more friends or kids can tag along. Enjoy interior lighting for late-night reading, a solar power bank to keep your phone charged, power station to charge your batteries between stops and a 3” foam mattress. Plus, we include two headlamps to make your way around safely after dusk. Full rear hatch kitchen with electric cooler and a two burner stove, sink, power station, faucet and prep area Pop up the hatch and you’ll find a functional kitchen with all of the fixings. This includes an electric cooler/freezer combo (no ice needed!), sink, and two-burner stove with propane, plus all the cookware, utensils, and cutlery down to a corkscrew and can opener that you’ll need while exploring. A jackery 500 power station fuels the fridge… this has enough juice to keep it cold for two days. If you’re putting some clicks on the crosstrek in between, it will charge as you drive and last much longer, and you can charge anything else that needs a boost in the meantime.

The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!
