Rugged Point Lodge is close to the fishing grounds and has some of the most consistent Salmon and Halibut fishing around. June, July, and August are the best months to fish for Salmon and Halibut. This spacious 2-bedroom mountain style suite has everything that you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms each with one double bed and two twin beds. Battle Abbey Backcountry Lodge, operated by Weber Powder, offers all inclusive (guided & catered) refined mountain experiences in the remote British Columbia backcountry. Established in 1978 by Hans Gmoser (the founder of CMH), Battle Abbey is perched at 2200M in the sub alpine and sits on 10,000 acres of exclusive world-class terrain. Battle Abbey offers a wide array of adventures for intermediate to expert backcountry ski tourers and split-boarders. From steep tree skiing below the lodge to high alpine bowls, couloirs and long glaciated runs above, there is Supreme Skiing for all weather conditions. Facilities: Texas Creek Campground - 63 campsites, showers, flush toilets, boat launch. Marine Sites - 8 rustic sites accessible by boat only. Location: 20 km northeast of Grand Forks on Highway 3 at the north end of Christina Lake. Located on the popular Christina Lake in the Monashee Mountains, Gladstone Provincial Park offers fantastic camping and boating opportunities. The park also has 48 kms of hiking trails as well as backcountry horseback trails. Day-use and picnicking can be found at the nearby Christina Lake Provincial Park day-use area. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Marine Sites are user maintained. This Park is 100% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended. Texas Creek campground is open from the first weekend in May through the third weekend in September.
